Fifth Annual Hats Off Day Family Fun Dash
The most fun you will have running after your kids!
Saturday, June 3rd

Presented by the Heights Merchants Association and sponsored by Chevron and CIBC,  this 550m dash kicks off the Hats Off Day event and celebrates how Burnaby Heights embraces health, wellness, families and fun. With Hastings Street closed, children will ‘dash’ down the wide-open street to collect their finisher ribbons.  Participation in this event counts towards school physical education requirements.

Registration is open to all children over the age of 2.  Each participant is required to have a team captain (over the age of 13), to accompany them in the run.  Each team captain can accompany up to four children, and is responsible for ensuring all their team participants cross the finish line.

$5 entry fee per person (no fee for team captain): Proceeds go to the Burnaby Fire Fighters Charitable Society

Don’t delay – sign up today! Registration is limited. No day-of registration.

To Parents / Guardians

School-age children’s eyes are constantly in use in the classroom and at play so it’s important to ensure they are working their best.  Your child may not realize they have a vision problem – they may simply assume everyone sees the way they do.

Eye See … Eye Learn® is a program that provides free eye exams and eyeglasses if necessary to Kindergarten children by a BC Doctor of Optometry. Visit www.bcesel.ca to book your child’s eye exam with a participating doctor.
